The girls have been awake since 2 am local time...so we hit the buffet breakfast and then the park first thing this morning. To say we are a spectacle with 3 kids under 5 (and two double strollers) in a country where most ppl only have one child is an understatement. We roll with it and say in 'ni hao' to everyone, allowing them to gawk and ask questions about the 3 kids (you really have 3? How old are they? Where was Emma born? What's her Chinese name? How old is the baby? Aren't the girls cold?)
Also, Alexis is somewhat of a celebrity due to her hair!! She was even given a gift by someone this morning in return for getting her picture taken by a young woman, lol.
She then found out how to take a 'selfie' with my iPhone :-)

After learning this, we will probably spend the afternoon at the hotel indoor pool, a yummy room service dinner and an early bed time. We then have an early flight tomorrow am to nanchang to meet lingao!

What a wonderful adventure for your family. I look forward to your postings every day.
I am so glad you both write these daily journal entries... I get to have a sense of peace (vs worry as the grandma half way around the world from you)knowing how your day is going... and just the tone of your letters tells me all is right... thank you for your posts
Oh how exciting! Can't wait to see Lingao in your arms!!! Good luck!
George asked if he could show the photos to his class at school. We are all thinking about you! Hugs from MN.
What a wonderful way to document this special moment and share with your family now and in years to come. You and Matt are true heroes!
Thought of you when we heard the report on NBC about the worst smog level ever. Good thing you have the option of the pool. You can breathe clean air and you can Tire Those Kidlets OUT!! Make sure everyone is getting lots of water inside, too. <3
Can't wait to see your pictures in Nanchang! Where are you staying?!?!? I remember being in Nanchang like it was yesterday, such amazing memories. Director Zhou was very sweet, tell him hello from Fu Jing Gui's family!
LOVE seeing your photos and following your journey. Can't wait for the next post!!
